FAQs

How do I contact you?

If you need to get in touch, feel free to send me a message using the contact form. You can also call or email me directly too!

What is your hourly rate?

I do not have a fixed hourly rate. I will either provide you with a fixed price or an hourly rate in relation to the work requested.

What do I pay if I only need you for a small job?

I charge a minimum call out fee of £35.00. This charge is intended to cover the time lost travelling between jobs, fuel, and my own time for services that may take less than an hour to complete. This charge will be factored into your quote and may be waived at my discretion.

How do I pay you?

Please make all payments within 30 days of receiving your invoice by cash or BACS (Bank Transfer). Banking details will be provided to you prior to the completion of any services being provided.

Do you provide free quotes?

Yes, I will always aim to visit your garden in person to understand the work required before providing a quote. Where it is not possible to visit your garden, I may provide a quote based on photos, videos and verbal descriptions but it is expected that these descriptions are accurate at the time at which they are provided.

Do you provide plants, compost, or other materials?

No, I am unable to provide plants, compost or other materials. It is expected these will be purchased by you.

Are you insured?

Yes, I am insured and have both public liability and professional indemnity insurance to cover my work as a gardener. In addition to this, I also have a lower-tier waste carrier licence that enables me to  take away and legally dispose of green waste I produce on site. I am happy to supply a copy of my insurance policies and evidence of my waste carrier licence on request.

Are you qualified?

Yes, I am a qualified gardener and attained my qualifications through the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS). I have completed courses on the principles of garden planning, establishment and maintenance, and practical horticulture. I am also accredited with the Gardeners Guild as a qualified gardener.
